Once again you are 100% correct.
Let me remind you that at least 4 times previously,
during Israeli-Arab conflicts (1956, 1967, 1973, and 1982), the US
interfered on behalf of the Arab countries to impose premature cease
fires, force withdrawals, bail out the 3rd Egyptian army, and rescue
Arafat and the PLO in Beirut. There will only be peace when Arabs
accept that they cannot destroy Israelby war, and/or, as Golda Meir
is credited to have said, "When Arab mothers' love for their
children is greater than their hatred for the Jews."
Keep telling the truth and most people will come around to believe
it (most of the time).

I think Ariel Sharon and Netanyahu are playing the
old game of " Good Cop, Bad Cop". What a twist! Sharon is
looking somewhat like a moderate, (who would ever believe he would
seen in that light) being the "Good Cop". He is for Peace
with a Palestinian State somewhere in the future, heh . Netanyau is
playing the part of the "Bad Cop" ! He is against any Palestinian
State, and taking the hard line. I think they are doing this to make
the Arabs see Sharon in a somewhat better light. Sharon would become
someone they could at least reason with and be willing to make compromises?
=:o Just for the record, I'm a staunch Israeli supporter. But, what
I've found among the people I work with is an ignorance of Israel's
history from 1948 to today. The war in 1948 when the Arabs tried to
"drive the Israelis into the sea" . The wars of 1967, Yom
Kipper War, and all of the other struggles they (Israel) have had
to endure and overcome.
The Saudis are aware of the power of a positive PR
program. Israeland her friends need to educate the Citizens of the
US about how Israelacquired possession of all the lands that is in
their control since 48 and 67. If I'm not mistaken, the Arab citizens
who didn't desert their homeland and properties in 1948 retained their
homes and possessions and became citizens of the State of Israel.
The ones who fled forfeited everything, by backing the hostile countries
during their attack on Israel. Who in their right mind would want
tens of thousands of hostile people in their midst, since they already
proved where their loyalty was? Sorry for rambling but...........
if you could give a chronological lesson on Israel's battles and events
that has led us up to this day, many would no longer view Israelas
a greedy land grabbing rogue nation. It's been a survival thing from
the very beginning.
One question, have you ever seen any of the Networks
put all of this into context when reporting on Israel's so called
agressions? If anyone has, maybe Fox. But so far I can't say they
have either. If they have, I've missed it. Of course, I know you have
brought these things out. How can anyone form an opinion on Isreal's
policies without a good grasp of these historical events. Well, thanks
for letting me vent.
Keep the Faith.

It is outrageous that we as Americans are not standing
firmly behind our ally(Israel) and helping to rid the world of another
terrorist and all of his other connections. It is now that we should
look at the truth of the matter Palestine does not want peace they
want the destruction and eradication of the Israelnation. I hope that
our leaders will see that and help to extract the terrorist out of
the area so tragedies like the latest bombing will end and we as a
world will finally say no more terrorism.
thank you

When I hear you speaking out the truth about IsraelI
cheer out loud. It is so refreshing. Yesterday I turned the radio
on in the middle of a call to you. The caller was saying why should
Israel keep settlements outside her own borders and didn't Israelgo
from a country of x square miles in 1948 up to x square miles now
-- implying Israelis aggressively expanding and taking what is not
rightfully hers.
In fact, the settlements are not outside Israel's
true borders. The caller scoffed at the Biblical claim of the Jewish
people to this land, which you rightfully replied to him was the heart
of the matter. But to answer him on his own grounds, the time frame
that he takes as relevant, you might have pointed out simply, that
in modern times, the original land set aside (after WW I, from the
former Ottoman Empire - the Palestine Mandate) was five times as big
as Israel, including the West Bank, is now.
Four -fifths of the territory originally set aside
for the Jewish homeland was peremptorily sliced off ( all the land
on the East Bank of the Jordan River) and given to a foreign implanted
leadership, the Hashemites, I believe a branch of the royal family
from Saudi Arabia. This entire region was very sparsely populated.
There was never any Arab geopolitical entity here, nor a distinct
indigenous "Palestinian" Arabic people. The territories
called "Palestine" have always been called so because of
their unique association with the Jewish people. ("Palestine"
was the name given to the Jewish homeland by the Romans after they
conquered it, but it was only a discrete location ie geopolitical
entity by virtue of it being the Jews' country.)
Most of the Arabs now living in Israeland the West
Bank migrated there within the past century, following the economic
opportunities and political freedom created by the incoming Jews.
Whereas the Jews were forbidden to live on the East Bank (now called
Jordan, est. in 1946, the majority of whose population is made up
of so-called "Palestinians"), Arabs were free to live on
the West Bank, which is the historic heartland of Israel.
The Jews all fled or were expelled from the Arab countries,
where they had lived for centuries, ie, half of a population transfer
has already transpired. To me, the logical and just solution is to
complete the other half of the population transfer, as U.S. House
Majority Leader Dick Armey said recently, on T.V. Have you read From
Time Immemorial, by Joan Peters? Now, when I listen to your bombastic
introduction re: the TRUTH DETECTOR, I take it seriously! Keep up
the good work!

How can the World stand by in silence ,while these
terrorist Palestine Bombers are killing innocent people including
children . Where is the criticism, the condemnation of these wicked
Palestinian Animals doing the Devil's Work . Why don't we just drop
One Big Bomb on the Palestinian Cities and get rid of The People Of
The Devil . Other Arab countries did, They killed thousands of these
Palestinians and ran them out of their respective countries . Jordan
and Egypt didn't want their terrorist acts, so they got rid of these
evil people. Nobody can live with Terror twenty four hours a day .
The United States won't stand for it, why should Israel. I would like
to see more of our news media provide this information of carnage
to the people of the world . Why are the facts being surpressed. Come
on, let's be honest to the right people and truthful about about the
evil people .

Why is transfer of Jews living in
the "occupied" territories encouraged- (actually there was
NO occupation under Oslo- the great lie) and the Arabs allowed and
encouraged to live in Israelas citizens? If Arabs can live in Israel,
why cannot Jews live in this made up Palestine area? Why must settlements
(cities) be vacated by Jews?

Thomas Friedman makes no sense AGAIN...
It never ceases to amaze me how Thomas
Friedman can make an absurd statement and then follow it up by contradicting
it. This time, It's in his piece "Nine Wars Too Many" at
http://www.nytimes.com/2002/05/15/opinion/15FRIE.html
where he states:"These Israeli rightists and settlers deliberately
label any Palestinian resistance to the Israeli occupation of the
West Bank as "terrorism" in order to rope the U.S. into
supporting Israel's continued hold on the occupied territories as
part of America's global war on terrorism. Beware."
Now what in the world is that supposed
to mean??? "Any Palestinian resistance" - does he mean little
things like blowing up school buses, pizza parlors, coffee houses,
religious ceremonies, supermarkets????
Yeah - those right wing fascists will
look for ANY excuse to call legitimate resistance "terrorism"!!
Those fanatical "settlers"! I almost stopped reading right
there. I saw no point in continuing to read something so ridiculous.
I'm glad I continued. I got to see it get even more ridiculous. He
goes on to say (and, yes, this is in the same article): "Yes,
many Palestinians are simply fighting to get Israelout of the West
Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem so they can establish a state there
not because they acknowledge the legitimacy of a Jewish homeland
in pre-1967 Israel, but because they know they lack the power to eliminate
it."
I'm sorry - did I read this correctly?
So, these people are really intent on destroying Israelcompletely.
Unfortunately for them, they just don't have the resources at their
disposal right now, so they'll fight for just part of it for now --
and these are the moderate Palestinians(!!) because then (it just
keeps getting more ridiculous) he says: "But some Palestinians,
and Mr. Arafat is among them, have not abandoned hope of establishing
a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza today through
diplomacy and armed struggle and a Palestinian state in pre-1967
Israeltomorrow through a baby boom and securing the right of
return of millions of Palestinian refugees. Israelstill does not appear
on many of Mr. Arafat's maps. So let's cut the nonsense that the only
thing that all Palestinians want is an "end to the Israeli occupation."
I wish that were true."
And those fanatical right wing Israelis
have the nerve to call these people terrorists??? Just because they
like to "resist occupation" through "armed struggle"
and "are intent on destroying Israelcompletely." Those silly
Israelies! Throwing around the term "terrorism" like it
was nothing. Come on - lighten up people - all they want to do is
destroy you and your homeland through armed struggle! Terrorism???
Bah!!!
What makes this so absurd, of course,
is that the part about the Palestinians is so blatantly, obviously,
clearly true!!! And they're proving it with machine guns and mortars,
and by sending their sons and daughters with bombs to kill themselves
and whoever else they can take with them!! (Run along now little Ahmed
- go be a good Shaheed and blow yourself up with some other nice little
children! And take your sister with you!)
So why in the world would anyone make
an asinine statement (in the same exact column) that "These Israeli
rightists and settlers deliberately label any Palestinian resistance
to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank as "terrorism"
in order to rope the U.S. into supporting Israel's continued hold
on the occupied territories as part of America's global war on terrorism.
Beware."?????????
And to wrap it all up, he says: "Frankly,
I'm happy President Bush is getting more involved in Mideast peacemaking.
But he'll get nowhere unless he can get the parties (including his
own aides) to abandon all the other wars they're fighting and to tell
their own people, and each other, that there's only one war left
a war to determine the border between a Jewish state and a Palestinian
state. Anyone who's fighting any other war is an enemy of peace and
an enemy of America's national interest."
Right... I can't understand why these
crazy right wing Israelis aren't out there determining the borders
and putting up the fence! Give them sovereignty! Give them their own
state to launch attacks from! Give them a REAL safe haven from which
they can build up the resources - those tunnels from Egypt are so
small and claustrophobic, and the Israeli fascists keep finding them
and destroying them anyway. Why don't they just make it easier for
all those moderates he mentioned above to build up the resources to
destroy whatever part of Israelis left? They must be enemies of America's
national interest! (???)
I know that the NY Times - or Thomas
Friedman - is not accustomed to actually answering any of these inquiries.
It's a shame. I would really love to hear some sort of explanation.
I could use a good laugh.
Sincerely, Steve / Efrat, Israel

Yasser!!! - Date: Thu, May 16 03:23

If Yasser Arafat is now proclaiming
the title of "General", I believe this makes him a legitimate
military target. As such, he is now more than ever, in the same category
as Bin Laden. To my way of thinking, should the Palestinians continue
with their terrorist bombings, etc. Arafat should be "taken out"
and the Palestinian Terrorist be hunted down not unlike the Al Quida.

If you stick your finger in a wall
socket you get bitten, and very possibly will die. If you kick a big
dog he will turn around and bite you, and may even tear out your throat
and kill you. If you see what you know to be a poisonous snake go
down a hole and you put your hand down there to get him, he will bite
you and the consequences are fatal. Arafat, especially, And his Palestinian
followers are responsible for their actions. They have been kicking
the same dog for a long time. And now that they have been bitten,
OMG, they are so surprised. What goes around, comes around. This is
not rocket science, now is it ?

We shall learn from a people who have
lived the tragedy of terrorism for generations.
Arlene
Forwarded from friends in Israel....thought
you would find this of interest.
I am not the least afraid to go any
place, by bus or to a mall. I didn't change or stop doing ANYthing
I used to do before this mess began! People tend to forget that twice
the casualties from terror get killed on the roads! More people still
die from heart attack, cancer, and other things; they just don't show
them on TV. Don't misunderstand me, there is a war going on, It's
not pleasant, but lets face it.. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN BETTER!!!! It's
only TV and media that make, people think It's the end of the world
coming.
Only 60 years ago!! They were leading Jews to their death like sheep
to the slaughter! No country, no army. 55 years ago! Seven Arab countries
declared war on the small Jewish state, only a few hours old!! We
were then 650,000 Jews! Against the rest of the Arab world! No IDF,
no mighty air force, just tough people with nowhere to go. (Lebanon,
Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, attacked all at once).
The country the U.N. "gave us" was 65 % desert. The country
started from scratch! 35 years ago!! We fought the three strongest
armies in the Middle East, and wiped them out in six days. We fought
against different coalitions of Arab countries, with modern armies,
and masses of Russian soviet weapons, and still won!!! We have today
a country, and an army, and a strong air force, and hi-tech economy,
exporting millions, Intel-Microsoft-IBM develop their stuff here,
our doctors win world prizes for medical developments, we made the
desert flourish, selling oranges and vegetables to the world.
Israelhas sent its own satellite!! In space (three satellites all
together!!), we sit proudly with the U.S. (250 million people), Russia
(200 million people!), China (1.1 billion), the Europeans -- France-England-Germany
(350 million), as the only countries in the world to shoot something
into space!! Israelis today in the world nuclear power family with
U.S, Russia, China, India, France, and England. (We don't admit it,
but every one knows...) To think that only 60 years ago, we were led,
shameful, with no hope, to our death!!
We crawled out of the burning ashes
of Europe, we won our wars here with less than nothing in our hands,
we built an "empire" out of nothing. Who the hell is Mr..
Arafat to make me scared? Terrified? You make me laugh! Passover was
last month, let's not forget what the story is all about. We overcame
Pharoah, we overcame the Greeks, the Romans, the inquisition in Spain,
we overcame the pogroms in Russia, we overcame Hitler, the Germans,
the Holocaust, we overcame seven other Arab countries at once, we
overcame Saddam. Take it easy, folks, we will overcome these, too.
No matter at what part of human history you try to think of, for us,
the Jewish people, our situation has never been better!!! So let's
lift our heads high, and remember: any nation or culture that tried
to mess around with us was destroyed to the ground - while we kept
going!!! Egypt? Anyone know where their empire disappeared to? The
Greeks? Alexander of Macedonia? The Romans? Anyone today speak Latin?
The Third Reich? Anyone heard any news about it lately?
And look at us, the nation from the Bible, from slavery in Egypt we
are still here, speaking the same language!! Right here, right now.
The Arabs don't know it yet, but they will learn there is one God.
As long as we keep our identity, we are eternal. So, sorry for not
worrying, bitching, crying, or being scared, things are going o.k.
here. They surely can go better, but still, don't fall for the media
junk, they won't tell you that there are festivals going on, people
keep on living, going out, seeing friends. Yes, our morale is low,
so what? It's only because we weep for our dead while they enjoy the
blood (and this is the same reason why, we will win, after all).
You can forward this e-mail (if you choose) to the whole of the Jewish
community in the United States, and the world. They are part of our
strength and it might help some of them to keep their head up high.
; tell them there is nothing to worry about. Tell them to think BIG
and to see the whole picture. "See you next year in Jerusalem."

PREVENTING SUICIDE BOMBINGS IN THE U.S.A.
I'm 71, served in the military, a graduate engineer,
been a GS-11 for the U.S. government; also a Private Investigator,
lived in seven countries and traveled throughout 85 countries including
the Middle East.
My opinion is that Bin Laden is dead, Saddam Hussein
has small tactical nuclear weapons (black market Soviet). I'm convinced
that stopping terrorist suicide bombings in Israeland in the future,
the United States is simple. Every Middle East country I've been in
did not dislike the U.S. because of our freedom or our decadence or
our wealth--their gripe was our support of Israel's occupation of
Palestine. The U.S. must condemn Israeli occupation of Palestine and
suggest, no demand, that Israeland Palestine sign on to the U.N. and
Saudi Arabian peace initiative; all Arab states must recognize the
state of Israeland Palestine must become a state of its own and this
would definitely end the hostilities as there would be no need for
Hammas, Hez Bullah, etc.,etc.

I am a little confused on what exactly
the terms are for the Palestinians to stop their horrific behavior?
They say that Israeli occupation must cease but what does that precisely
mean? Where does the Palestinian government want the Israeli military
to evacuate? I will not believe
they would ever stop but it would be nice to know their terms.
Thanks,
Jeremy Cross

Just wanted to say that I read article
about cover ups and couldn't agree more. Sometimes in talking with
people who only listen to main stream media I wonder if I am the only
one who actually reads history. You might further consider these facts
to further bolster your argument: Israel still supports "Palestine"
with money, fuel, and elect rical power. Further, hundreds of millions
of dollars pour into "Palestin e" (a very small area geographically-
at least the inhabited parts) from America and the European Union
yet the "refugee camps" seem never to improve. How could
so much money have so little impact on suc h a small area?
Perhaps, most of that money doesn't
reach it's intended t argets. Perhaps, someone should investigate
Mr. Arafat and his organ ization and their accounting for the money.
Not that I am skeptical mind you, it's just that I have trouble trusting
a former KGB supported t errorist (actually Egyptian by birth a believe?)
who likes to break trea ties and support murder. Other than that I
think that Mr. Arafat is a fin e representative for terrorists world
wide. Keep up the good work and thanks for having the courage to publish
the truth!

Concern regarding Palestinian State
-
I am greatly concerned about affording
the Palestinians (is Palestinian a historically correct label anyway?)
their own state when in the streets of Gaza they cheer when our troops
are killed and they chant anti-American slander. I fear that developing
a state for the people who routinely engage in homicide bombing slay
their innocent neighbors will once again be creating an environment
that will train and harbor terrorism. I know there is much pressure
on the President to appease Europe and the Arab nations, however appeasement
cannot come by placing our friend and ally in the Middle East in harm's
way. Let us first see a change in sentiment of the Arabs in Israel
before we contemplate providing a larger sanctuary for terrorists.

Suicide Bomers???
Greetings,
Why aren't the "suicide bombers"
called what they really are? If that happened in the United States
they would be called "Terrorist Bombers"?
