On whether the election results constitute a rejection of conservatism by the electorate…
If the three million votes, the three million Republicans that everybody thought would turn out had turned out, three million Republicans did not vote, the statistical analysis is that if those three million had voted for Romney, Romney would have won the popular vote by a couple hundred thousand. We didn't lose this because of immigration. We didn't lose this because of women. We lost it because we didn't turn out the base. There were eight million Obama voters who did not vote this year as opposed to 2008. There was not more enthusiasm for Obama in this country. It was not conservatism that lost. It was not our ideals that lost. It was our campaign strategy. That's where this was lost. Reagan's words ring true. Don't give up your ideals. Recognize there are millions and millions of Americans who want what you want.
The media is no longer about truth. It's not about informing.
The media is now part of the propaganda machine. They are part of the Democrat Party. They are Democrats with bylines. They're pretending to be objective. They're pretending to be inquisitive and professional. But they're not. They have thrown in with one side. They have thrown in with the Democrat Party. They have thrown in, all-in, with Obama. That's been the nature of the media for a long time now. They can be overcome. Ronaldus Magnus overcame the media -- and, folks, we can, too. My point here is we already know this. You and I know we can overcome the media. This program has done it. Any number of other so-called New Media have overcome it, and we win elections. We don't lose every election. We win more than we lose. It's important. With the free media support Obama gets -- whether it's 60 Minutes, The View, the Today show, MSNBC -- and all that paid propaganda that Obama pays for, it's important that your enthusiasm not be blunted.
On Democrats’ cynical attempts to distort Ronald Reagan’s legacy for their own political purposes…
So now we find out today that not only was Ronald Reagan for tax increases on the rich (but he) was pro-abortion. Have you ever stopped to realize, this bunch of people – the Democrat party, Barack Obama – they hate Reagan, they have always hated Reagan, they engage in revisionist history about the Reagan years. But when they need to move their agenda forward – when they need to marshall support for what they’re trying to do – who do they invoke? LBJ? No. Teddy Kennedy? No. JFK? No. RFK? No. Bill Clinton? No. They invoke Ronald Reagan.
