On the death of Osama bin Laden at the hands of the U.S. military.
It was President Obama – single-handedly, and alone – who came up with the strategy that brought about the effective assassination of Osama bin Laden. He kept the Bush policies alive, keeping a military presence in the middle east, allowing the military to finish the job that they started nearly ten years ago.
On the tactics used by US forces in the killing of bin Laden, which the Left found abhorrent under President Bush, but which it now accepts.
So again, to review: an American President, with admittedly incomplete intelligence, invades a foreign and supposedly friendly nation. Without that nation's knowledge or consent. Using information extracted from Guantanamo detainees subjected to allegedly illegal enhanced interrogation methods, i.e. waterboarding... and all of this was done without any United Nations resolution or authorization of any kind.
On the political need for the Obama Administration to kill rather than capture Osama bin Laden.
There is no way this administration is going to bring him here alive and apply their own sissified techniques to this guy... You talk about politically DOA. You bring Osama bin Laden anywhere, you put him in Club Gitmo and you give him an ACLU lawyer? And then you promise him a trial? Everything they've done with Kalhid Sheik Mohammed– there is no way they were going to apply their own sissified policies that they've tried on everybody else to bin Laden.
